Robert Pattinson may be breaking his silence even sooner than expected.
The 26-year-old actor is set to appear on "The Daily Show" on Aug. 13 - despite earlier reports that he'd make his first televised interview since his
girlfriend Kristen Stewart was caught having an affair with married director Rupert Sanders on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Aug. 15.
Pattinson will sit down with Jon Stewart to promote his new movie "Cosmopolis," Reneta Luczak, a rep for the show, confirmed to the Daily News.
His "Daily Show" interview - his second appearance on the show since March 2, 2010 - will happen the same day he hits the red carpet for the drama flick's
New York City premiere.
ROBERT PATTINSON SPOTTED 'GETTING WASTED' AT BAR FOLLOWING AFFAIR
Both Pattinson and Stewart, 22, have been famously mum since steamy photos of the starlet canoodling with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director surfaced
last month.
Stewart and Sanders, 41, both issued public apologies shortly after the tryst was revealed.
Pattinson is not the only scorned lover to return to the public eye.
